Polyoximethylene is an excellent construction material. Due to its high dimensional stability and low moisture absorption the material is applied in machine construction industries. The material's low abrasion and good sliding properties make it especially suitable for maintenance-free application as gear wheel, slide bushing or guiding rail. The black variant for outdoor application shows very good results for UV-resistance. For special demands, the material can be modified with fibreglass or soot.
